
Kue Pancong is one of Betawi traditional cakes that is still very popular. It’s not hard to find them as peddlers are selling them everywhere. This snack tastes a lot better if it is consumed immediately after lifted from the grill.
Ingredients A:
- grated coconut
- rice flour
- eggs
- water
Ingredients B:
- rice flour
- coconut milk
- salt to taste
- pandan leaves
How to Make:
- Mix coconut, rice flour, eggs and water (ingredient A) together.
- Then, mix flour rice, coconut milk, salt and pandan leaves (ingredient B) on a hot boiler until the mixture becomes porridge.
- Give both mixtures salt, then stir them evenly.
- Smear pancong mold with oil and heat it.
- Pour the dough into the mold. Cook it until it becomes brownish.
