Kue Ape

Kue Ape or Ape cake is a daily snack to Betawi people. It can be found anywhere in the Betawi culture area. Ape has several variants, one of them is the one with pandan, which makes it green in color.

Ingredients:

  • rice flour
  • coconut milk
  • coconut water
  • bread developer (yeast)
  • sugar
  • chicken eggs

How to make:

  • Soak yeast with coconut water
  • Beat eggs and sugar with mixer
  • Mix rice flour, coconut milk and coconut water
  • Leave the dough for ½ hour before cook it on a mold
