
Kembang Goyang has a unique shape and delicious taste, which make this cake a favorite for children. It is served usually during the Eid Al-Fitr and also during ceremonies and festivals.
Ingredients:
- wheat flour
- rice flour
- coconut
- eggs
- white sugar
- vanilla
- salt
How to Make:
- Sift flour. Grate coconut and squeeze it to get the coconut milk.
- Mix flour, sugar, and vanilla. Then, pour coconut milk little by little into the mixture. Add some salt and after that, add beaten eggs.
- Heat oil on pan. Meanwhile, mold the mixture into a flower shape
- Deep fry the mixture.
- Once the kembang goyang appears yellowish brown, lift them with sticks and set aside until the oil dries from the kembang goyang.
