Kembang Goyang

Kembang Goyang  has a unique shape and delicious taste, which make this cake a favorite for children. It is served usually during the Eid Al-Fitr and also during ceremonies and festivals.

Ingredients:

  • wheat flour
  • rice flour
  • coconut
  • eggs
  • white sugar
  • vanilla
  • salt

How to Make:

  • Sift flour. Grate coconut and squeeze it to get the coconut milk.
  • Mix flour, sugar, and vanilla. Then, pour coconut milk little by little into the mixture. Add some salt and after that, add beaten eggs.
  • Heat oil on pan. Meanwhile, mold the mixture into a flower shape
  • Deep fry the mixture.
  • Once the kembang goyang appears yellowish brown, lift them with sticks and set aside until the oil dries from the kembang goyang.
